How to Make Your Monster

Classroom Tip: Making these with a class or larger group? Consider cutting out the monster pieces ahead of time. Kids can still make each monster their own by coloring, decorating, and putting all the pieces together!

1. Color your monster.
Let kids choose their own colors for the monster, gloves, shoes, and other details.

2. Cut out the pieces.
Cut around the monster body, hands, shoes, arms, and legs.

3. Fold the arms and legs.
Accordion-fold the paper strips back and forth to give your monster bendy arms and legs.

4. Put your monster together.
Use glue or tape to attach the arms and legs to the monster body, then add the hands and shoes.

That’s it! Once everything is attached, your little paper monster is ready to play with.
